Giovanna turns TWO

Our baby girl is two years old, and to celebrate her we threw the most adorable party. This year the theme was Enchanted Forest.

We used lots of cute forest animals, butterflies, sweets, and of course a yummy cake I baked myself!

Giovanna was so happy! She tried some sweets, and played, played, played.

Everybody had a great time! Our baby Giovi got a lot of cute gifts and attention.

Luz de las Naciones- Sus Promesas

Today we took baby Giovanna and met with the Matutes and Villatoros at the Conference Center to watch Luz de las Naciones. It was a beautiful production with lots of colors, dances, and songs. The performance was based on the ancient civilizations of the new world when they witnessed Christ's coming to the Americas as we learn in the Book of Mormon.

Unfortunately, Giovanna was not feeling her best with runny nose and cough, but she still watched the dances, clapped along, and made it throughout the entire show. Plus, snacks helped as well.

After the performance we hurried home to give baby Giovi a bath, medication, and bed.

It was a beautiful night.
