Halloween 2015

Halloween was super special this year because grandma spent it with us. It was her first Halloween here in U.S. and I love first times! So we planned lots of fun things to do with her. First we took her to a pumpkin patch to pick some pumpkins. Thank you Villatoro family for inviting us!

Then we carved the pumpkins. My mom did awesome! Her pumpkin was the coolest!

Around 6pm we went trick-or-treating. First we took Giovanna to a trunk-or-treat at church. Then later we drove to Daybreak where we had a Halloween party.

Preschool Halloween

October is always a busy month for Giovanna. It is also the month she eats a lot of candies. Besides being her birthday, she also has several Halloween parties to attend. Today was her Halloween party at preschool. They sang happy birthday to her and they trick-or-treated.

Mrs. Jean also prepared a Halloween program where the kids presented some songs and poems. It is always beautiful and so fun! This year grandma watched Giovanna too. She loved to perform for her grandma. And grandma loved watching her!

Later today we celebrated her birthday a little bit more!

Halloween at Gardner Village

Who lives in Utah knows Gardner Village has the cutest displays. On Christmas they have Elves display and on Halloween season they have witches. Our family goes every year. It's our little tradition already. We love taking Giovanna there for a scavenger hunt, and she loves winning a cookie at the end of it.

This year grandma helped Giovanna to find all the witches on the scavenger hunt. Good job girls!

We are missing baby Bianca on the photos. She slept the entire time.

Giovanna's 5th Birthday

Last Saturday we threw a birthday party to celebrate Giovanna's 5th birthday. Every year we let her pick a theme. This year she wanted a Frozen party. I had decided to keep it simple and just make a cake and invite a couple of close friends, but since my mom was in town and brought some frozen decoration my sister made, I ended up changing my mind. I'm glad I did it, because everything turned out beautiful! Thank you mom, Ale and aunt Carol for all your help!
