For me Easter is a time to turn our thoughts to Jesus Christ and reassure He lives! He loves us and understands us as He himself also had to go through sorrow and pain on this earth. He died for us and resurrected so we could find joy and eternal happiness by our Heavenly Father's side in the highest. I feel thankful and humbled.
On Easter Eve we had the Brito family over for egg hunt and dinner. This is our first Easter at our new place, and I am so glad we have a nice green area right behind our apartment complex. We were able to spread the eggs across the lawn and the kids had a blast running after them.
The kids had plenty of chocolate and surprises while the adults just relaxed and talked. It is a truly blessing having friends that are like family to us.
