Kindergarten Graduation

Today Giovanna graduated from Kindergarten. I am so happy to close this chapter with so many good moments to remember. Giovi is lucky to have had loving staff and teachers around her throughout the year. She was able to make many good friends, and I got to know most of them and their parents.

Giovanna loves her kindergarten teachers Sra Hansen, Mrs Greene, and the lovely Miss Gibb.

After graduation we headed to the park to have our traditional 'grad picnic at the park'.

 

Windsor Dance Festival 2017

After Giovanna's DLI dance performance at Timpanogos High school, she got ready to perform another dance at her school. She was so excited and had a blast dancing (and singing) the song Wavin' Flag from K'naan. 

Everything was fine until my phone's camera stopped recording and decided to freeze up! Thanks goodness it all happened towards the end of the dance, but still... bummer!

Windsor Field Day 2017

Today Giovanna had a field day at school. Her class along with other grades played games outside and had lunch at the park. I volunteered to be in charge of one of the games. There were about eight different groups that rotated through each game. It was super fun!

I love being part of Giovanna's academic life, and every time I have the chance to volunteering I do it. That way I can get to know her teachers and classmates and they get to know me. 

Mother's day 2017

Happy Mother's day to all wonderful mamas, step mamas, grandmas, and mother figures around the globe!

We had a beautiful day together. I love my little fam and how they make me feel special every day.

In the morning, we had breakfast at Kneaders, and for lunch daddy took us girls to Smash Burger for lunch.

Then we hit some stores and played in the park.

Ale graduates- Utah Valley University

Ale finished school in December but his walk ceremony was only held in May. It was a beautiful ceremony. I couldn't help but think about all we went through to make this happen. He is now officially graduated in International Business with Spanish Language Track. I am a proud wife of a persistent husband.

And these are proud little girls for their daddy's example. Their love and admiration for him is pure and deeply touching. They kept waving, blowing kisses, and calling DADDY the whole ceremony! He is sure loved!

DLI Performance 2017

I love end of school year celebrations. This year Giovanna will be participating in two dances and one opera. Since she is in Spanish immersion they performed a typical Latino dance. The kids looked absolutely adorable!!!

Ale and I were super impressed by how well the kids performed! It was not an easy dance with several different moves and coordination. Giovanna danced perfectly! Exactly the same way she was practicing in the bathroom the other day. lol

She looked so cute! I am so proud of her!
