Yesterday I was talking to my family when my niece and nephew asked if they could sing a song for me. I'm so glad my sister recorded it because this video is the type of thing we want to keep forever and watch over and over again.

That is exactly what I'm doing right now and I get emotional every time!

Old Friends, Beautiful Memories

Going through some photos from 1996 to 2008 I found so many beautiful memories of friends from college and from church. Years have passed by, a lot of things have changed, and it's great I still can communicate with most of them. Some got married, some moved to a different country (me!), some built a beautiful career, and I'm happy for each one of them!

Rough morning. Resetting in 1, 2, 3!

I'm taking Giovanna to the pool as I promised,

making chocolate chips banana bread later on,

homeschooling Giovanna after her nap,

doing some grocery if I have time,

preparing a healthy dinner tonight.

All before this day is over.

Happy Birthday to my sister who is turning 34 today. I love you, I admire you and I miss you so much! Look at this beauty when she was sixteen years old. She hasn't changed a bit throughout the years. Same cute face and same smile! And I was only thirteen when I took these pictures.

Dinosaur Park

Every year the Weber County R.A.M.P offers free admission on a variety of attractions in Ogden city through June, July and August. Last weekend our family drove all the day to Ogden to visit the George S. Eccles Dinosaur park for the first time. That place is so cool and worth the drive!

The park is huge, the displays are very convincing, and you can hear the peculiar sounds they make everywhere you go in the park. Giovanna was scared at first, then she loved it. We are definitely coming back for more!

Leatherby's creamery

Yesterday we went to my favorite creamery. We had chicken fingers, cheese fries (with fry sauce), and the best banana split you can think of.

I'm also excited for Saturday. We are going to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden for the first time. I heard only good things about it. We are planning to spend the whole day there. I'll bring lunch and snacks to make a picnic.

Chalk Art Festival

Past weekend the Utah Foster Care was hosting the Chalk Art Festival- street art made by artists of all ages. We were amazed by their incredible talent!

They also had other fun things to do and see! We had lots of candies and cool prizes.

World Cup- Brazil x Mexico

The mountains were so beautiful this morning! Now the sky is grey, we can't see the mountains anymore, it's raining, and it's cold! I wish I could be home under the blankets watching Brasil x Mexico, drinking hot cocoa, and eating bolinho de chuva.

Anyways, still following the game on the computer from work.

Sleepless night

Hello guys! How was your father's day? Nostro big dad got sick and spent the whole day lying down. Poor thing! I woke up several times during the night to check on him and Giovanna. At 3:00am I couldn't sleep anymore. I hate when that happens!
