This past weekend our family attended the Chalk the Block here in Utah County for the first time. When we lived in Salt Lake I used to take Giovanna every year to the Chalk Art Festival that happens every Father's day weekend at The Gateway Mall.
Chalk the Block is very similar to the one in Salt Lake, except it is held at The Shop at Riverwoods and it is not organized by the Utah Foster Care. Instead the festival is partner with Spectrum Academy to bring awareness and, with the proceeds of the festival, help autistic children in Utah.
All the artists are amazing and we were all impressed by their talent. We had a great time there taking a bunch of silly pictures and enjoying fun entertainment. Then we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
