A few weeks ago Giovanna started sweeping some of her hair to the side, like a bang. She would get her hair wet and stick it to her forehead sweeping it to the side. She thought she looked beautiful.
I asked her a few times where she had learned this hairstyle from, but she would giggle and say it was from her brain. When things started to get really annoying because she only wanted this hairstyle we made her tell us where she had gotten it from.
She finally answered she got the idea based on Ms Moreira’s haircut. Ms Moreira is a teacher aid at Giovi’s school. The majority of students and staff there is Hispanic, so many things on their culture has some influence on Giovanna. For example, she loves their hairstyle with all braids and huge bows.
In order for her to stop sweeping her hair to the side I decided to cut a cute bang on her hair. You can only imagine how happy she was. She loves it and she makes sure telling everyone about it in case they don’t notice it.
It looks really cute indeed.
