His Hands

Today the girls woke up just in time to participate in an activity the stake prepared for girls between eight and eleven years old who are working on their Faith in God. The purpose of this activity was help the girls understand their potential as Heavenly Father’s daughter and we are His hand here on earth to bless other people’s lives.

It was a beautiful activity! There were several different stations with lots of opportunity for each girl to serve- write cards of encouragement and appreciation, fill backpacks with school supplies to send to Africa, surprises for those who are sick, and so forth.

Giovanna and Bianca along with other friends from their Primary picked writing a card. They decorated the cards with hearts, stamps, and other fun and cute stuff. Then, after completing their project service they all headed outside to play.

I am so grateful for the Faith in God program, for helping these wonderful girls grow up to be leaders, compassionate women, and a light in this world. I am deeply grateful for the gospel in my life and in the life of my family. We are happy because we have hope and faith in Jesus Christ who is the center of our home and everything we do.

Here is a link if you want to learn more about our faith.

***Also this weekend Stuff the bus volunteers will be also filling up backpacks with school supplies for schools in need. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make it this year, but look who happened to be in their official website:
