A few weeks ago Ale bought a fourth grade prep book to help Giovanna get ready for next school year. The book contains reading comprehension, grammar, and math.
Every day she reads a text and answers a questionary. And every day I have to witness Giovanna’s frustration and the tears in her eyes. (I took these pictures while she wasn’t looking).
It’s painful for both of us.
Today, I came across to an ad on Facebook that caught my attention: “The five step process children use to overcome focus, attention, and processing problems”.
It was a thirty minute video explaining why it’s so hard for some kids to process information, and what it can be done to help them without tutoring, therapy, or medication.
Then, at the end of the video presentation there was an invitation to schedule a thirty minute free consultation over the phone to talk to a professional.

I scheduled a time for tomorrow afternoon. For a very long time I’ve been anxious to find out what’s going on with Giovanna so I can better help her succeed academically.
Fingers crossed for good news.
