Giovanna’s been good friends with AJ since first grade. They attended Spanish immersion together at Windsor. Then on third grade AJ moved to a different neighborhood and a different school.
Even though they didn’t see each other so often anymore, they remained good friends. Giovanna kept inviting her for her birthday parties, and after a while without seeing each other, today AJ came over to swim.
When it comes to good friends, no matter how long they go without seeing each other, it’s as if they never stopped seeing each other.
It was cute watching them play and catch up on school routine, friends, and summer. They spent four hours in the pool. Even I stayed in the water for that long playing with them.
It was a really fun afternoon.
