Girl's camp- Giovanna

Giovanna if off to her very first girls camp with the Young Women. My heart is melting!

Have fun baby girl! We’ll see ya in a few days.

Back to horseback riding

We finally found a new horseback riding instructor for the girls. She used to be Shauna's student, and she has a lot of Shauna's way of teaching, which I am so happy about!

The girls are so excited! Me too!

 I love that they love horses as much as I do!  

Elementary school graduation

My heart is aching a little. Giovanna graduated from elementary school. My baby girl is growing up way to fast. When summer is over I will be driving her to Junior High!! She is super excited (I am not!).

It was a beautiful ceremony. The kids have been participating in the where a police officer comes to the school and teach the kids about civil responsibility, drugs and alcohol use, and . Each kid who completed the program receive a medal and a certificate. Giovanna also got for completing extra goals.

She was also nominated for  and outstanding work at music class. 

It was a lovely and bittersweet night. I am sad Giovi is saying goodbye to our Timp family, but I know she will do great things at Junior High. She is getting so big and I can't wait to see all her accomplishments in life. Go Giovi go!

Plus, I still have Bianca in elementary school to enjoy! Ha!

Mother's day 2023

Mother's day was beautiful. I had clinicals ALL DAY, and I was very sad about that. BUT when I got home, Ale and the girls were waiting for me with a delicious dinner and yummy surprises. I felt so loved!

We had lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. The girls set up the table beautifully and decorated with flowers, cards, and drawings.

Thank you Ale for teaching our girls to appreciate their mama. And thank you for being my partner in bringing them to this earth and raising them. I love you.  

Trolley Square

 One more visit to Rodizio Grill in Trolley Square for the books. I love going there!

The Trolley Square museum was open this time. Fun!

Hope of America 2023

 Giovanna loved participating in Hope of America. This year when fifth graders started rehearsing for it, she knew she wanted to watch them. It is a beautiful program indeed.

We were very luck in quickly finding parking spot, and in no time we were sitting waiting for the all the singing, lights, and dancing to start. Giovanna recorded everything and sang along. She still remembers it (and so Bianca). It was so fun and bittersweet!

Giovi loses her tenth tooth

One more tooth came out!

This past Saturday while celebrating Mindy's 40th birthday in North Salt Lake, Giovanna's tooth came out. She came to me with a bloody mouth. When I checked, her bottom left molar was loose, so she pulled it out.

This is the tenth tooth my beautiful Giovi loses. She is growing so fast! BUT tooth fairy will keep coming until she loses all her baby teeth. 

Greek Olympics

Today Bianca participated in the Greek Olympics at school. I was super excited to volunteer since I only come back to school next week. Bianca was really excited too. She still loves when I have time to volunteer in her class.

The kids played typical Olympic games such as archery, marathon, race, and more. They also had a feast with grapes, cheese, olives, and bread. It was such a fun way to learn about the ancient Olympic games!

I absolutely LOVE the school my girls go to. I am SO grateful! They have a great academic curriculum and high academic standards. I feel at ease because I know they are safe surrounded by good kids and good people.
