Oak Canyon Spring concert

 Our sweet Giovanna performed with school band again. I was so happy to be able to watch since I missed her chorus concert on the previous day. Ale made to the chorus but not to this one. Lately, we've been stretching ourselves and taking turns as we try to make to work, school, activities, recitals, birthday parties, etc, etc, etc. Its such a busy time in our lives right now.

Giovanna played Courtlandt County Festival and Shenandoah. I love watching they play. They always work really hard to give the best performance to their family and friends. Plus, they look so professional on their attire!

I am grateful for the school band. Through band, Giovanna made wonderful friendships, learned a new skill, and had lots of fun.

Ice cream coupon

 Today Bianca asked to use one of her coupons she got for Valentine's Day. She wanted to go for an ice cream, so we headed to her favorite ice cream place- Menchie's.

  She said next one she will use is the $35 coupon to buy a new Lego set. 

I think coupons is such a cute idea to gift kids. They get so excited! I found the idea here. 

Valentine's Day 2024

Since I worked on Valentines' Day we had to have our traditional chocolate fountain on the next day. I cooked everyone's favorite- Garlic beef and broccoli lo mein AKA "pandinha". Then we had our traditional chocolate fountain. I love that no matter how old the girls are they still love our Valentine's tradition!

 I also printed a coupon booklet for them. It included cash value for any store, ice cream place of choice, stay up until late, free chores pass, and much more.

Earlier that week we had Bianca's classmates for a Valentine's night. After their Halloween get together, they decided they wanted to meet (and invite more kids) for every holiday. They are so cute!

They played games, had dinner- homemade chicken noodle soup, and the much anticipated chocolate founde. They had so much fun. 

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make a Valentine's box with Bianca, which made me really, really sad. But she was able to make one with her class at school.
