Sad news

 Today was a sad day as a shooting happened at UVU killing the political activist Charlie Kirk who was addressing students at the campus. Giovanna was walking home from school today, but I decided to pick her up instead since the shooter is still at large. Authorities encouraged families to stay home as much as possible. Unfortunately, I had patients to see so I made sure to be careful and not chart in my car.

I looked up online trying to understand what had happened. I was shocked and horrified watching Kirk being shot on his neck. These are troubled times. There is so much division, anger, and violence going around. It is sad and scary.

"And all things shall be in commotion, and surely, men's hearts shall fail them, for fear shall come upon all people. 

Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing and stablish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.

And above all things, clothe yourselves with the bond of charity, as with a mantle, which is the bond of perfectness and peace.
