Park City Mountain Resort

The Bellini girls went to Park City to spend the weekend. It was a last minute decision but it was so much fun. I woke up on Friday and told the girls to pack because we were going on a little getaway. We stayed right across Park City Mountain Resort and close to the bus stop which was very convenient. We either walked or took the bus so we didn't have to worry about parking.

On our first day we took the bus to Main Street to grab dinner. We walked around before picking a place. We all decided that pasta sounded really good. We ate at Red Banjo Pizza. We ordered ravioli and tortellini. All pastas are made with homemade vegetable marinara sauce, perfect for my girls who don't love their veggies but still need to eat them.

After dinner we had ice cream from Java Cow and walked some more before heading back to the hotel.

The girls wanted to swim for a bit before bedtime. The water was pleasant and they had lots of fun. After pool we all showered and watched a  movie. Soon the girls were fast asleep.

On the next day we went back to Main to have breakfast. We ate at The Eating Establishment and it was delicious. It was a delightful morning with good food, pleasant weather, and live music. I even requested Landslide, one of my favorite songs.

After breakfast we headed back to Mountain Resort to do the Alpine slide. The girls were first scared then had so much fun going up with the lift and down on the track. The slide is over 3,000 feet long, one of the longest Alpine slides in the world.

After the lift we had to pull our sleds over to the start point. We can control our speed while going down. Giovanna went first and soon she disappeared before I could even take a picture. Bianca went in front of me. She took her time cruising down, and at some point I had to tell her to go a little faster because of other people approaching our sleds.

The girls loved it! They wanted to go again, but unfortunately the tickets were for just one ride. I am not sure why they don't sell a pass that allows us to slide several times.

I can't wait to go back there soon. It was a really fun weekend!
