Saturday morning our family woke up early to take daddy to the airport. He will be in New York and Washington D.C. for the next seven days with his MBA program.
The airport was as busy as I have never seen. There was NO WAY Ale would make it IF he hadn't found a friend who was about to check in his baggage and let him CUT in front of him. Then he had to cut the huge line AGAIN to be able to pass security and get to his gate before they closed the door.
Fortunately, everything worked out and he was able to catch his flight to New York City.
Giovanna came all the way back home from the airport crying. Poor thing! The girls already miss him so much. This is the very first time any of us has been apart, so we are all trying to manage schedules and emotions (specially because he will miss Giovi's school performance next Friday).
Let's hope this week will fly!
