Today Giovanna's Spanish teacher got married. About two months ago Giovi came home saying Senorita Grimes was getting married and she had invited all her students for the wedding. I smiled and just replied "how fun!" knowing her teacher was just being nice. How surprised I was when I picked up Giovi from school one day and she showed me Ms Grimes' wedding invitation. She had indeed invited all her students as she had promised.
It was a beautiful wedding. Students, teachers, and school staff were there. Giovanna played with her classmates and danced with the bride and the groom. Then when it was time for Giovi to say goodbye she started crying.
Srta Grimes is moving to a different city and will no longer teach at Windsor. I was sad too. She is a wonderful teacher and really took the time to help Giovi in class and also sending extra math materials for her to practice at home. We wish her the best!
