Singing in the rain

There have been beautiful sunny days, and we've been enjoying summer a lot! The girls are constantly playing outside, running, swimming, or just lying down on the shade looking at the blue sky. I love days like this. 

But sometimes the sky gets gray and it rains. Then we remember how our Heavenly Father is perfect and brings the rain to water the plants and trees, and we feel grateful. And we play, and dance, and even sing in the rain.

As my girls ran, laughed, and splashed in the rain, my heart filled with gratitude for the peace we live in, for the freedom we have, and for the small things that bring so much joy into our lives.

I also couldn't stop thinking about the song "Singing in the rain", and its lyrics:

"What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again".
